Leatherwood honey has smooth creamy texture and an ochre- yellow color. It is slightly liquid with uniform crystallization which has an intense aroma with notes of balsamic scents, which develops quickly into clean fresh notes of white flowers and citrus fruits.
It tastes creamy buttery and melts in the mouth with a very pleasurable sensation of eating.
Note: Avoid giving raw honey — even a tiny taste — to babies under age 1.
